INFORMATIONS ABOUT STAY
We are starting in September 2023
- We offer 8-day curative stays in our "port" in the heart of Andalusia, Málaga for free. Accommodation provided in an apartment house with rooms directly on the beach, where children can be alone or share a room. The maximum number of children in one session is 6-8. Very cozy and family environment.
- The famous area of Playa Pedregalejo is especially popular among families with children, thanks to the quieter environment and also the beach facilities. Nearby we find the Playa de Las Acacias beach which is covered by light to grey sand that lines the entire coast. We can find here artificially built bays with stones that protect the coast from any waves. In combination with the gradual entry into the sea and the many playgrounds, this area is absolutely perfect for spending time with children.
- Age 8-16 years, possibility to travel with a legal guardian, travel insurance we provided, pocket money from parents for small personal purchases
- Throughout all the stay Vendy, Lenka and Markéta take care of the children. Cooperation with several other volunteers, institutions, etc.
- Stay, flights, meals are NOT covered by parents. It is covered by the fund of the non-profit organization.
- Children need a doctor's certificate about the possibility of travelling without complications. And other questionnaires for parents to fill in (diet, non-infectiousness, medication, allergies, daily habits, confirmation from the doctor).
- Food for children will be served mainly in organic quality. Most of the products in Malaga are of high quality thanks to local cultivation. We can find here large plantations with fruits and vegetables, especially olive, saffron, citrus or vines. Fresh fish from the market and other seafood. Everything available from suppliers or farmers at local markets. We cook for children according to individual requirements. We would also like to involve them in common cooking and grilling on the terrace of the house or on the beach. And because it is a pity not to take advantage of every beautiful day, we would like to organize common picnics, breakfast on the beach or dinner at sunset.
- We arrange for you cooperation with local leisure centers as schools (music, dance, sports clubs), swimming pool, visit to the water park, dolphinarium, visit to healing lakes, dipping in the mud, visit to the local spa, golf, riding of horses, farm, zoo, language schools - Spanish and English.
