Founders of project

Lenka, who has been leading a successful charity in the Czech Republic (www.pandachild.cz) for three years, decided with her partner Martin, with whom she moved to Spain with her family, to establish this beautiful project in the heart of Andalusia, in Málaga.

Martin who has been working in hotels industry all his life, decided to support idea of Lenka and her friend Vendy and provide facilities for children.

The aim of the project is for the sunshine and beautiful sea to give an experience to children who have been struggling with oncological disease in recent years, children who definitely did not have it easy at all. Dětský přístav will offer much more than just free stays by the sea, but also a curative Program, which will be led by a professional team with previous experience in non-profit, health care and pedagogy, a team which is jointly involved in the Children's Port project. The common idea of the whole team is to support oncological children who have gone through demanding therapy and to give them new energy after a hard fight.

The common goal is to bring and grant to as many children as possible a stay in Málaga, where our team will take care of them and bring a program full of fun and relaxation on the famous healing sunny coast.

Together with love for the sun and the sea, where happiness never ends ..

OUR TEAM

Lenka Maudrová

director

My name is Lenka and I am the founder of this project. I am a mum of two beautiful girls who confirm to me that Málaga is a great place for a happy child. I have used my pedagogical and law education in many professions, when I founded a golf academy for children or created a professional methodology of training children from the perspective of pedagogy for lecturers. All my charitable activities led to the establishment of the PandaChild Endowment Fund, where I gained a lot of experience with management and confirmed that this activity is my mission.

Vendula Mrázková

business coordinator, partner

My name is Vendula Mrázková and I am a nurse. Already during my studies at a secondary nursing school, I was interested in the field of oncology, and then I decided to devote myself to it. During my university studies, I spent several months of practical training at the oncology department of the Pardubice hospital, paediatric oncology in Motol and the hospice in Chrudim. I participated in palliative medicine seminars and dreamed that one day I would be able to be part of a team that would systematically make the living conditions of cancer patients more pleasant. After graduation, I went to Australia, where I worked as a nanny in a great family and later as a nurse in private clinic. After my return back to Prague, I worked at a dental surgery clinic in Prague, where many patients were children. But I haven't stayed at home for a long time and I'm abroad again. In a beautiful seaside town called Málaga, where the sun, sea and ubiquitous Spanish comfort awaken peace of mind in me. And exactly this feeling of joy I would like to dedicate to all the children who come to experience it with us. I believe that this project, in which we put the best of ourselves, will enrich not only my medical profession, but also my experience of working with children. In the future, I would like to continue studying psychotherapeutic training and thus be able to offer further help.

Markéta

volunteer

I'm a budding actress. I love children, one day I would like to travel the world. I ride a onewheel. I like to help people, the feeling that you have helped someone is priceless. I am an art lover. I enjoy photography. I would like to use my skills and guide you through the whole project. I think Málaga is the best place for children to spend their stay. It is a great honor for me to become an ambassador of this exceptional project and I will support the project with original pieces tailored to all children participating in the curative stay.

Yvet Molchain

I am a fashion designer who creates modern and elegant clothes for stylish women who know what they want, not only when it comes to their wardrobe. All models are made of high quality materials, I have done interesting projects, such as cooperation with Miss Czech Republic. In addition to fashion design, I like to be involved in charity projects. I believe that each of us can contribute to a better world at least a little and therefore I try to devote my time and energy to this area.

PhDr. Kateřina Horáčková, PhD.

ambassador

I am an academic worker at the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Pardubice, where I have been caring for oncological patients for a long time. As an oncology nurse, I know exactly how demanding and long-term anticancer treatment is. As a mother of two children, I can imagine the situation of a family in which there is a child diagnosed with cancer. I like to offer my knowledge and experience to everything that makes sense and benefits. The Children's Port project offers something more, offers hope. Hope for health, for a life without drugs, blood draws and pain. It is a great honor for me to be a part of this.

Dominik's hobbies include hockey, fitness, modeling, horseback riding, traveling and acting. Among other things, he is also interested in charity, which he has already devoted himself to in the past. And we are now glad that he wants to continue this mission and become our ambassador. He would like to visit the children in Málaga, spend time with them and give them joy.

Martina Hyža

volunteer, mum of patron Mika

Hello, my name is Martina Hyža and I have been treating my little Mika for 3 years at the paediatric oncology in Motol. Martinka's arrival into the world was not easy either. It is, a very big struggle, I am going with you on this long, painful, thorny road. I know how you feel, I know how afraid you are, I know how much uncertainty there is, how much pain there is on that path, I know what your greatest wish is...... Therefore, it is important to provide any support, to give courage, strength to go further. I got an amazing offer to fly to the sea, I always wanted it very much, but unfortunately so far the state of health does not allow us. Dear children and parents, take advantage of this opportunity to fly for a curative stay in Spain - Málaga right by the sea. We would like to say thank you from our hearts all those involved in this project. Good luck in life wish you Martinky Hyžů.

Nikol Petruželová

ambassador, yoga teacher

Hi, my name is Nikol. I make my living by modeling and I have been acting for a long time. I love traveling, sun, ocean, surf, music, reading and my family. In addition to traveling and discovering the world, my travels have led me to yoga, which I have been doing for 8 years and this led me to complete the Yoga Teacher course (200 RYT). Yoga is my inspiration and life coach at the same time.

Cooperation with the Children's Port project gives us the opportunity to help children and their children who need it. I am honored to be able to support the project in this way and be part of something so beautiful and real. Let's look at the world with more heart and help where it is needed.

Petr Michálek

volunteer/translator

I work as a real estate agent mainly in Prague and its surroundings and I also cooperate with several companies in Spain and Latin America. I lived and worked in Spain for seven beautiful years and fell in love with the country. It is a great honour and pleasure for me that the language skills I have gained here can help in this amazing project and these children will also be able to discover the beauty of this country.

Simona Kuklová

ambassador

Hi, my name is Simona and I would like to introduce myself as an ambassador of the charity project Children's Port. My main goal within this organization is to contribute as much as possible to help children with challenging life stories.

I have studied psychology for several years and I have gained a lot of valuable experience in this area, which helps me to better understand the human psyche.

Thanks to my work in modeling, I have learned to work with people from different backgrounds and this profession has also allowed me to participate in various charity events over the years. At the same time, I am in the fashion business, so I would also like to provide material assistance in the form of our products.

For me, Children's Port is an opportunity to be part of something bigger and help those in need. I hope to spread awareness of the project and motivate people to support this beautiful initiative.
